“Our annual Awardee Day is an opportunity to publicly acknowledge the extraordinary efforts of our inspiring volunteers,” she said. “It is another opportunity for us to come together and pay tribute to their dedication, support and admirable work they continue to do in local communities across the State. “Without the help of volunteers, Meals on Wheels wouldn’t be possible. In addition to preparing and or delivering a delicious nourishing three-course meal, our volunteers offer a friendly smile, social contact and a check that clients are “Safe & Well”. “They are the driving force behind our service, and as MoWSA continues to move forward during its 60th year, we hope to continue to play an integral part of communities across SA.
